Bereavement Support Group
Losing a friend, a family member, or a partner is a journey that you do not have to take alone.
The Mautner Project offers an in-person Bereavement Support Group.
Meetings are held on Wednesdays in 8 week long sessions from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mautner Project office. It is open to any lesbian/woman who partners with women who has lost a partner, friend, or family member from any cause. Topics include the myths and realities of mourning, the physical effects of grief, coping skills, and personal transformation. For more information on the scheduling of this support group, please call or e-mail Elizabeth Ide to sign up: 202-332-5536; eide@mautnerproject.org. The group is limited to 8 women.
