Internship Opportunities

Mautner Project, the National Lesbian Health Organization, is in need of some great interns. Our organization is dedicated to improving the health of lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women who partner with women through outreach, education, research, and direct client services. Our interns work on a variety of projects including:

Education. Distribute health promotional materials, assist with training seminars, and reach out at community events.

Research. Assist with the details of major research projects including participant recruitment, focus group facilitation, data entry and analysis.

Direct Services. Help to recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support clients with life-altering illnesses. Work one-on-one with clients to provide patient navigation, help to plan and implement workshops, and work with community partners for collaborative projects.

Outreach and Events. Help organize and run outreach and fundraising events of all sizes, from galas to health fairs.

Administrative Support. Interns assist with clerical details, data entry, document and web design, and telephone support.

Interns will acquire all these resume-building skills and more while working with a fabulous and fun community of colleagues and clients.
