Mautner Project has long believed in equal access to affordable breast cancer screening and treatment and is proud to announce our newest program, Tools for Caring: Action for LBT Breast Health. Through a generous grant from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® Mautner Project will continue our programming and commitment to:

• Provide health workshops and do outreach about breast cancer screening;
• Train local medical professionals about culturally competent care through our signature Removing the Barriers cultural competency training program;
• Provide referrals for both patients and medical professionals to culturally competent screening centers/organizations that provide low- or no-cost screenings; and,
• Provide patient navigation services for medical system navigation assistance, transportation, and other direct services in the event of a breast cancer diagnosis.
