Coming out: Tired of doctors assuming that you’re straight, and sometimes even ignoring your specific needs?  Here are some tips for coming out to your healthcare provider.

GYN care:  *coming soon* If you often avoid regular GYN care because of your gender or sexual identity, know that you are not alone.  Such a personal medical exam can be difficult for anyone, but is often especially trying for lesbians, butch identified women, and trans women and men.  Although they may be difficult, regular visits to your provider for screenings are your best protection against breast and cervical cancer.
