In this autobiographical one-woman show, Elizabeth shares her true stories of coming out, love, family estrangement, and forgiveness. She embarks on a quest for belonging after her mother's death, and reconnects with her family after the discovery of her grandparents' passionate love letters from 1917.
Filled with moments of tragedy and comedy, the way life is lived in the Deep South, this show will touch your heart.

Whitman-Walker Health & Mautner Project Team Together to Provide Services to LGBT Elderly
Whitman-Walker Health and Mautner Project are introducing a new program for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) seniors - People Advocating for LGBT Seniors (PALS) - to the Washington area. PALS is a free program that connects compassionate, trained volunteer visitors with LGBT elders, 55 and older, who are living at home or in assisted living and nursing facilities. The program also provides companionship and help, when needed, to access community, health, and government services. For more information, visit the press release.
Research Project for LGBT Elders in Washington, DC
SAGE Metro-DC and The Washington, DC LGBT Aging Coalition are trying to do some very basic research about LGBT elders living in Washington, DC. As you may know, data about this part of our community is extremely scarce. They are looking for LGBT District residents 60 years of age or older. Your help will go a long way toward future programs to assist this very important part of our community.
