Welcome to the website of the Mautner Project, the National Lesbian Health Organization. If you, or someone you love, has recently been diagnosed with cancer and you are seeking support services and/or health resources, we encourage you to contact us at: 202.332.5536. If there is information that you seek and are unable to find it on this website, please do not hesitate to contact our office directly. Thank you for visiting!

The Mautner Project improves the health of lesbians, bisexual, and transgender women who partner with women, and their families, through advocacy, education, research, and direct service. We envision a healthcare system that is guided by social justice and responsive to the needs of all people.

Thank YOU Mautner Volunteers!
Pride was a HUGE success! Not only did we march with pride in the rain on Saturday, we also were there at the festival the very next day. We handed out literally hundreds of flyers about health programs and Mautner events. We got tons of new sign ups for our e-list, and we even had the opportunity to still have some fun playing with our infamous Health Trivia Prize Wheel! Thank you so much to everyone who marched, handed out flyers, told their friends, and came out to support all the work that goes into showing our PRIDE! |
| To do any of the events that we do, we rely on all of our volunteers who help in so many ways. Whether it's marching in a parade, to handing out flyers, to helping out around the office - our volunteers ensure that our work gets done. The Mautner Project extends a hearty thank you to those who were able to help. And we would like to also extend an invitation to more individuals wishing to volunteer. Please sign up and become a volunteer today! Contact Sara Jaye Sanford at 202.332.5536 or ssanford@mautnerproject.org to find out how you can help our community. |
